We are organizing the Annual Dandiya Nite on Nov 7. We set up a ticket sales stall outside the HUB today and will do so on the following two days. This was a first time we did this and as expected we were caught with a lack of proper preparation. We will get more posters, banners, sound system, dandiya sticks for tomorrow. We sold around 6-7 tickets today. It was a good experience.
Just smiling at people and starting the talk if they smiled back worked best. Some people were just not interested while some were. People took turns to sit at the stall. It's heartening to see the organization team full of enthusiasm.
